There are some signs that summer is coming: The weather is starting to warm up, our allergies are starting to kick in, and Jennifer Lawrence is starting to hit the streets of New York in her effortlessly cool outfits.
Today in Manhattan, the Oscar-winning star stepped out in a classic transitional season ensemble. The set is made up of pieces that are half fall-ready, half summer-ready, and totally stylish. Lawrence wore a brown button-down cardigan paired with trendy floral-print pants. On her feet? She’s re-introducing last year’s cult summer shoe, The Row’s luxurious Dune flip-flops (retail $690), easily identifiable by their bright red soles. (Kendall Jenner and Zoe Kravitz are both fans of the popular sandal.)

While her lightweight pants and sandals had a summery vibe, Lawrence’s other accessories felt more fall-ready. For example, her suntan suede Dior “Diorly” bag has a cozy fall vibe and features a silver monogram strap.
Perhaps her most eye-catching accessory, however, was her choice of necklace: Her double-layered black beaded necklace was immediately reminiscent of the small black choker we wore back in 2016. (Yes, the Tumblr-approved kind that Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid once wore.) Lawrence seemed to have hit a slump during her comeback a decade ago. Can we next expect to see her in a khaki green jacket or ripped skinny jeans from the era? If anyone can do it, it’s her.
