Jennifer Lawrence is all about casual spring style.
While she’s already been parading around New York in statement flats and fashion’s favorite flip-flops, today Lawrence debuted another warm-weather must-have: fancy pants.
The actor was spotted taking a casual stroll while pushing his child in a stroller, wearing a red long-sleeved polo shirt and breezy pink Siedrés pants. The lightweight trousers are the focal point of the outfit, embellished with silver sequins and studs.
There’s a lot to take away from Lawrence’s styling choices. As seen in Lawrence’s recent Canadian tuxedo foray, she’s not afraid to pair it with bold accessories. Today, in addition to her statement pants, she added a pair of mustard yellow flats, a long beaded necklace with a shell pendant and oversized black sunglasses.
Her color choices also bring some visual appeal. While J.Law is a famous fan of the “pop of red” look, her decision to pair the bold cherry color with a similar salmon pink (rather than a neutral or complementary color) brought some welcome sartorial friction.
But, perhaps most importantly, Jennifer Lawrence reminds us that one can look put together while still keeping it casual. With these sophisticated pull-on pants, she doesn’t have to sacrifice comfort to look cool.
