“Take me back to when we walked down the aisle/and our whole town came and our mommies cried,” Taylor Swift sings on “Mary, (Oh My, Mine),” a throwback gem from her self-titled debut album. In addition to being one of my favorite songs of the era, “Marie” touches on a question that’s been on the minds of late: Who will be attending Taylor Swift’s wedding?
While the guest list has yet to be confirmed, there’s no shortage of speculation and expert dodges from rumored guests like Jack Antonoff and Antoni Porowski. Suki Waterhouse recently revealed that she will be attending and hoping to draw some inspiration for her upcoming wedding to Robert Pattinson.
So who are the other guests? In addition to Swift and Kelce’s family, there will likely be Kelce’s teammates from the Kansas City Chiefs (such as Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, for whom Kelce served as best man) who will likely be on the guest list. Of course, Swift’s best friends like Selena Gomez, Abigail Anderson-Bardard (Swift’s childhood friend, also known as “Red Haired Abigail” from Fifteen), Gigi Hadid, Ashley Avegno, the Haim sisters, Zoe Kravitz, Emma Stone, Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams, are all expected to be in attendance.
In addition to entertaining royalty, there may also be some actual royals, like Prince William and Kate Middleton. When asked about Swift and Kells’ wedding during a recent Heart FM radio interview, Prince William responded, “No comment.” He added, “I hope and I’m sure there may be invitations, but we’ll see.”
The future king is a famous fan of Swift. He sang on stage with her and Bon Jovi at a 2013 charity gala. In 2024, he joined his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte on the Eras tour, where he was seen dancing joyfully to “Shake It Off” and taking a selfie with Swift and Kells.
Little is known about this high-profile celebration. According to “Page Six”, the wedding will be held on July 3 in New York. Although the couple has yet to publicly confirm any wedding details, Swift said she and Kelce plan to have a big wedding. In October 2025, she told Graham Norton that she would invite him to the event. “That would be huge if you invited me,” he joked.
Online, many used the wedding to rehash and re-judge the status of Swift’s high-profile friendships with the likes of Blake Lively and Karlie Kloss. Reddit posts and gossip pages are abuzz with speculation about who will receive the invite, but Swift seems to be opting for a happier approach.
“I’m really excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan. Because I think the only weddings that are stressful are the ones where there’s not a lot of money and people are in a bubble,” she said on the Graham Norton Show. “You have to evaluate or evaluate your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I wouldn’t do that.”
She joked that “anyone I talk to” is invited. We’ll have to keep watching to find out.
