Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce showed up to a friend’s wedding in Brooklyn, New York, yesterday, each decked out in head-to-toe gold and all-black outfits. Blink and you might have missed her Elizabeth Taylor homage and dazzling jewelry debut. Her eyes were crying the violet color she might have done at a friend’s wedding – dripping onto the jewelry of a Hollywood screen icon.
The couple was photographed heading to Honey’s in Bushwick, Brooklyn last night. Swift wore a gold Maria Lucia Hohan Allar silk dress made from shimmering gold fabrication with a cutout waist, paired with a matching gold Aquazzura Ari clutch and Aquazzura Tequila sandals. (It’s a regular shoe in her current rotation.) In addition to a Kindred Lubeck old mine-cut engagement ring from Kansas City Chiefs Athlete, Swift also wore an impressive jewelry set.

The pop star wore a full Darlene De Sedle 22-karat gold and opal diamond suit, which, notably, once belonged to her idol and last album’s muse, Elizabeth Taylor. It was the first time she wore the entire ensemble in public, which was put up for auction in 2011 and hasn’t been seen since. Swift modeled matching chandelier earrings, rings and bracelets that were unmistakable thanks to their soft opal sheen and sculptural shapes.
