Michelle Obama is promoting more casual workplace attire.
The former first lady left CNN headquarters in Los Angeles wearing a white T-shirt and black Tory Burch slip dress. The midi dress is embellished with an oversized bouquet of colorful flowers, a nod to 1930s tapestries.
While the T-shirt and slip combo harked back to ’90s minimalism, Obama brought it into the present with her accessories. She wore a pair of mahogany pointed-toe slingbacks, an Etro clutch and oversized gold-framed Gucci mask sunglasses. Among her jewelry, Obama chose a necklace and a stack of bracelets.
