Both initiatives are designed to improve operations and clinical decision-making.
Kuala Lumpur International Hospital Sdn Bhd (KLIH) has signed a partnership with Royal Philips to jointly develop smart hospitals and clinical command centres.
“Together, we will advance our smart hospital initiatives to optimize efficiency, empower clinicians, and provide personalized and convenient care for each patient,” Dr. Colin Lee, managing director of KLIH, said in a press release.
For smart hospitals, KLIH and Philips will develop a roadmap to improve clinical operational efficiency, the release added.
The companies also plan to explore a command center that will use real-time patient data, predictive analytics and workflow optimization to make informed clinical decisions.
KLIH is a private tertiary hospital located within KL Wellness City, a 26.5-acre health and healthcare development in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Philips develops diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, image-guided therapy, surveillance and enterprise informatics, and personal health technologies.
