For the meaningful occasion on Tuesday, Kate wore one of her favorite colors, red, and one of her favorite patterns, polka dots. But the origins of this look are surprising: It was designed by fashion’s favorite brand, Rodarte. The Pasadena-based brand, run by California sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, is known for its romantic silhouettes and well-researched art historical references.
Although the designer is surprising, the styling is even more exciting. The princess wore a printed silk twill midi dress with a Miu Miu purse and her favorite red Gianvito Rossi pumps, a ruby pendant necklace and matching diamond earrings.

In recent years, Kate has regularly expressed support for cancer survivors and research. In December 2025, she left a touching message on an art installation commemorating those who have lost their lives to the disease. When she announced her diagnosis, she said: “At this time, I am also thinking of all the people whose lives have been impacted by cancer. To everyone facing this disease, in whatever form it takes, please don’t lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”
