After UCLA’s stunning victory in March Madness last week, we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see where the team’s star players will go. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too long. Tonight, Lauren Bates, Angela Dugalic, Gabriella Jaquez, Gianna Kipkens and Kiki Rice will officially trade in the blue and gold during the 2026 WNBA Draft.
While UCLA players make up an impressive third of the freshman class, many familiar faces will be walking the orange carpet at The Shed: South Carolina’s Raven Johnson, UConn’s Azzi Fudd and LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson will also be in attendance.
The WNBA has become a fad over the past few years, with the draft becoming a precursor to the tunnel walk of the future. In 2024, Caitlin Clark hit the carpet in a coordinating white Prada suit, while Angel Reese opted for a silver hooded Bronx and Banco gown. Last year, Paige Bueckers opted for a sparkling three-piece Coach suit, while the Sacramento Kings’ Russell Westbrook styled Georgia Amoore.
