Every Major Art Fair Taking Place in 2025

Mexico City will once again host four trade shows in February: Zona Maco, Feria Material, Salón Acme and Unique Design X. zonamarco It is one of the most important fairs in Latin America and includes, in addition to the main contemporary art section, sections dedicated to design, historical objects, photography and books. The 2026 fair will introduce a new section called Forma, a collaboration between the fair’s contemporary art and design departments. Aimé Iglesias Lukin, director of the American Society in New York, will curate the Ejes portion of the show for the first time.

Exhibition materialsNow in its 12th edition, the show brings together some of Latin America’s most high-profile galleries as well as exhibitors from the United States and Europe; in December, a last-minute change of venue was announced. Material’s Proyectos section is curated by Lorena Peña Brito, chief curator of the Museo Cabañas in Guadalajara, while Michelangelo Miccolis will organize its performance project Immaterial.

Sharon Acme is an artist-centered fair held in two historic buildings in the city’s Colonial Juárez neighborhood; artists are selected from an open call by a curatorial committee, and one section will focus on art from the state of Puebla, curated by art historian Nina Fiocco. Unique designXThe 2026 iteration will focus on the “intrinsic, complex and symbiotic nature of how objects and their surroundings impact the way we live.”
