Infinix GT 50 Pro Brings Shoulder Trigger Buttons And Liquid Cooling At Low Price

Last year, I wrote about fast-rising tech brand Infinix aiming to build an affordable gaming ecosystem that includes gaming phones, tablets, and earbuds, and now the latest device in the range: the Infinix GT 50 Pro.

While there’s no official pricing as of this writing, reliable rumors say it’ll likely be between $300 and $400. Despite its relatively low price, this phone packs a ton of features and specs you’d expect from a gaming phone.

First, the GT 50 Pro features two capacitive buttons on the right side of the device, so when the phone is held sideways, they become the usual shoulder-trigger buttons found in every gaming controller. Shoulder buttons can greatly improve performance in certain games, especially first-person shooters.

This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, a chip with features close to those of a flagship. The phone also has a large liquid cooling chamber that covers the entire silicon, which helps keep the chip cool to avoid performance degradation. As if that wasn’t enough, the phone also comes with an additional snap-on cooling fan to further keep the chip’s temperature as low as possible.

The GT 50 Pro also comes with the usual RGB light strip that all gaming phones seem to need, as well as a fast 144Hz OLED display with 1.5K resolution.

The software has been fine-tuned to provide native 144fps support for some key games including PUBG, and has a dedicated gaming space with custom wallpapers and control panels to further aid gaming.

With 12GB of RAM and a 6150mAh battery, the phone should provide enough memory and power for gaming. Like Infinix devices, the package includes a number of accessories, including a tempered glass screen protector, wired earbuds, and a fast charger.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro looks to be another enticing offering for those who love gaming on their phones but don’t want to spend a hefty price tag.
