After asking my manicurist to show me the best options in the category for my fair, neutral skin tone, I chose SpaRitual’s “Ritual Not Routine.” Iridescent Galinda Bubble Pink & Some variations of beige This is the color I anticipate going out with, and it goes with the overall state of nude nail polish in 2026.

Elle says the category is no longer based on a “one-size-fits-all” nude color palette, but has expanded to consider a “curated collection” of olive, gold, red and neutral tones. “The structure has also evolved,” she noted. “Nude colors are no longer just a cream finish; they’re sheer, opalescent, jelly-like, and even soft pearlescent. This layered effect gives nails dimension.”
