“I definitely feel more like her. Or she feels more like me,” Smart said. “I mean, we look alike.” She also noted their shared sarcastic sense of humor. As for their differences, Smart noted that she didn’t face the same anger, pain, and distrust that Deborah did when making decisions. “That’s been her motivation over the years and I think she’s starting to learn to let that go this season.”
Smart people miss many aspects hackerincluding Deborah’s vast and exquisite wardrobe and her tastefully designed home. Although she was hesitant to take any clothes from the set, she proudly admitted to taking curtains from Deborah’s home. “I’d do it again. See! I said it!”
In addition to the clothes, Smart will miss working with Hannah Einbinder, whom she greatly admired. She credited her 30-year-old co-star for broadening her understanding of Generation Z: “I definitely became more aware after meeting Ms. Ebinder.”
