Tomorrow, the first Monday in May, the 2026 Met Gala will be held on New York’s Upper East Side. Ahead of the big event this weekend, a slew of A-list stars have been seen arriving in the city – many of whom gathered for a private pre-Metropolitan Museum of Art bash hosted by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez at their private NoMad apartment last night. Because why not have a small party before the big one?
Celebrities attending the intimate event included Kendall and Kris Jenner, Ashley Graham, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Law Roach, Vittoria Ceretti and more, all of whom you can spot on the steps of the Met tomorrow. While the night was a celebration in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, some fashion-forward looks were on full display. Kendall Jenner, for example, wore a black long-sleeved dress with bow detailing that was visible through the plunging neckline and asymmetrical leg slit. Turns out it’s a vintage dress from Thierry Mugler’s fall 1993 collection.

Of course, Jenner is no stranger to vintage pieces: The model has worn a number of eye-catching classics over the years, from a chic John Galliano dress to a romantic Chloé slip dress. (She was also going through a Jean Paul Gaultier mesh phase at the time.) The question is, was her decision to wear vintage clothing a teaser in front of the Met? A hint of what’s to come?
