Although there is no official If there was a Golden Globe for Best Dressed, Jessie Buckley would definitely be in the running – giving her a tough run with Jennifer Lawrence, who wore a custom nude mesh column dress by Givenchy. Nominated for her role HamnetU.K. FashionThe February cover star was one of the last nominees to hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel tonight, wearing a strapless, asymmetrically draped pale blue silk Dior gown.
It marks the latest fashion coup for the Killarney-born actor, who has undergone a subtle but significant transformation since hiring Danielle Goldberg (fashion stylist to Ayo Edebiri, Saoirse Ronan and Jodie Comer) in late 2025. Gone are the period-style puff-sleeved Rodarte gowns at the 2023 Academy Awards and the fake beards at the 2022 Met Gala; in their place are cashmere turtlenecks by Olsen paired with pleated maxi skirts that were ultra-sophisticated and sophisticated; languid Chanel gowns; and Issey Miyake off-shoulder suits.

While Buckley has previously sat front row at Jonathan Anderson’s Loewe, admitted to being obsessed with Galliano’s classics, and even modeled in Simone Rocha’s spring 2020 collection, she recently admitted that she’s been wearing “moth-eaten” pants since giving birth to her daughter last year. In this month’s UK speech Fashionshe added that she’s “so excited” for the red carpet during awards season. “One moment you’re changing diapers,” she said shortly after topping the best-dressed list at the Governors Awards, “and the next you’re wearing The Row.” And the next? Won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Performance. (perhaps).
