“Sorry, do you have any prior engagements? Do you have to go to some horrible skirt convention?” was Emily Blunt’s snarky line as Emily Charlton in “T.”The Devil Wears Prada, A character who would rather faint than wear ugly clothes. Her glamorous look at tonight’s sequel’s New York premiere was no exception.
red carpet debut The Devil Wears Prada 2Blunt also repeated this step by wearing a Schiaparelli dress from the latest spring 2026 haute couture collection. The sculptural design features a fitted raffia bodice and loose, tiered skirt. Designer Daniel Roseberry has a close personal relationship with Blunt: He also designed the dress she wore to the 2024 Academy Awards, when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in “Oscar.” Oppenheimer.

For her jewelry tonight, Blunt chose elegant pieces from Mikimoto’s Les Pétales Place Vendôme Rosés collection. Dropping in diamonds? More like drops in pearls: Her show-stopping necklace is made from 156 Akoya cultured pearls and accented with 18-karat rose gold and 4.86-carat diamond petals. The star also wore a pearl bracelet from the brand, which featured 243 Akoya cultured pearls on her wrist alone.
All in all, Blunt’s dramatic look tonight was perfect for such a high-fashion film The queen wears prada. (After all, now’s not the time to play it safe!) We imagine her character would proudly wear this ensemble in a movie, like to the Met Gala or Haute Couture Fashion Week, so go ahead and call it the perfect way to dress. Emily approves.
