Since launching menswear in 2024, Ladislav Zdút and his team have worked on a single theme throughout the season, which means that this ready-to-wear collection, like the previous menswear collection, is believed to be the work of Agnes Martin, whose paintings will soon be exhibited at Dia Beacon.
“Quiet authority is the main motto,” Zdút said when discussing the menswear collection. Here, that power is understated as we choose to complement the women’s collection with shimmery pink toe shoes that give an aggressively feminine and edgy feel in a collection that aims to focus on the “power of understatement.” The smooth, flowing monochromatic look in muted tones gives the most painterly and to-the-point feel, allowing the rest of the collection to stand out from the background.
