“As you know, the show got a bit of a makeover this year. As many of you here will understand, we got rid of the ‘dip’ and now it’s just the acting awards,” host Kristen Bell quipped at the 2026 Screen Actors Guild Awards Actors Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
From this cheeky beginning, a ceremony unfolded on and off stage in the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, filled with sweet, impromptu moments. It’s a big night for Ryan Coogler sinnerOn one hand, Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor, and the entire cast also won the coveted Best Ensemble award. In his touching acceptance speech, Jordan echoed this sentiment by recalling the moment he received his SAG-AFTRA union membership card. Pete Star Noah Wyle took his card out of his wallet earlier in the show. “I love being an actor, I love actors,” he declared to the audience, adding: “I’m so grateful for this alliance.”
