The 2026 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) have officially launched and have been renamed! So, welcome to the stage of the 2026 Actors Awards.
The ceremony, officiated by Kristen Bell, will be held in the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. In terms of movies, one battle after another Leading the night with seven nominations, while studio Leading TV with five.
Now that we’ve got the housekeeping out of the way, let’s turn our attention to the red carpet, shall we?
The event debuted a dress code: “Reimagining the Hollywood glamor of the 1920s and ’30s.” We have high hopes for this very stylish group of nominees to live up to the early days of Hollywood. Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, Emma Stone and Ariana Grande are among the primary and supporting nominees. The male actors are sure to do well, too: Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Jacob Elordi and Paul Mescal are among the stylish actors expected to win.
While the Actors Awards aren’t a grand awards show, they do deliver in style. Last year, Timothée Chalamet gave his now-famous speech on ambition while wearing an acid green button-down shirt and a bolo tie. Red gowns dominated the carpet: Danielle Deadwyler wore a geometric Louis Vuitton dress, and Anna Sawai opted for a structured, jewel-encrusted Armani Privé dress. Of course, today’s red carpet wouldn’t be complete without the flexibility of vintage fashion. Givenchy opened the archives of Cynthia Erivo, who wore a silver raffia woven dress from the Fall 1997 Haute Couture collection.
