Look out, Jacob Elordi: There’s a new bag boy in town.
Harris Dickinson no longer plays George Harrison in Sam Mendes’ Party of Four the beatles A biopic that showcases his fashion prowess. The actor touched down in the City of Lights ahead of Paris Fashion Week, wearing a navy zip-up shirt over a white T-shirt, baggy brown trousers and a pair of rugged red-lace Danner mountain boots.
But Dickinson’s bag contrasted with his more masculine outfits: a travel-sized black Balenciaga City bag with black hardware for a decadent look. Launched in the fall of 2001 under Nicolas Ghesquière, the legendary wallet has a long history with celebrities: Sienna Miller favored a cherry red colorway, while Mary-Kate Olsen’s mint biker bag was stained with red wine.
And, while men are no strangers to carrying bags (A$AP Rocky’s extensive collection is a great example), they’ve become accessories Today’s newspaper for a certain collection. Elordi is a big fan of Bottega Veneta, from his Andiamo bags to his intrecciato luggage. Meanwhile, David Beckham embraced the Hermès Haut à Courroies Birkin bag and took it to Paris to attend Victoria Beckham’s Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres ceremony.
Now, Harris Dickinson is jumping on the bandwagon. Maybe we’ll see him and his City bag at the Balenciaga show.
