It’s been a busy weekend for Cardi B. Last night, the rapper performed at the Fanatics Super Bowl party in San Francisco; today, she’s sitting front row for boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ big work event: the 2026 Super Bowl. And, surprise! She appeared during intermission with Bad Bunny.
To do this, Cardi hired celebrity manicurist and OPI global brand ambassador Coca Michelle to create her look. The two have been working together since 2019, when Michelle did Cardi’s nails at the 2019 BET Awards.
“It’s great to have creative freedom when working with Cardi,” she said. “I like to use different techniques, textures and materials based on the vibe I curate for each client.” When it comes to Cady, she tends to choose bold colors, high-tech finishes, rhinestones, and even custom welded metal perforations.
Michelle is also used to working on the fly. “I usually start my process when I receive an outfit sketch from Cardi’s stylist. However, my prep time varies. Sometimes I have days to plan, and sometimes I don’t see the outfit until two hours before she has to complete her glam look.”
