You may have noticed that Thom Browne was absent from the New York Fashion Week schedule. Now we know why. The designer will showcase his Fall 2026 collection at the GQ Bowl in San Francisco, an event that blends fashion and sport and will be held at the Legion of Honor Museum the Friday before Super Bowl LX
Hosted by Thom Browne and Will Welch (Thom Browne Global Editorial Director) Qthe event will feature live-streamed red carpet and men’s and women’s fashion shows, attended by models, athletes and famous friends Q and Thom Browne, the companies announced today.
The show will air live on GQ.com and YouTube at 7pm PT/10pm ET.
Brown is no stranger to football. For the past decade, the designer has hosted a football game every year as a seasonal event that emphasizes the brand’s collegiate spirit. Browne’s signature gray performance garments are often worn by friends of the brand, models and celebrities.
Previous editions have been held at Brown’s alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. But last season, the designer worked with Q Taking the game to New York Fashion Week, “players” include actor Danny Ramirez and model Jules Smith, as well as a cheerleading squad that includes creator Morgan Riddle and actor Yasmine Finney.
Thom Browne’s GQ Bowl is the second edition of the event, which was held in New Orleans last year and included fashion shows from Nike and Bode’s Bode Rec brand. Attendees included NFL players Braxton Berrios, CeeDee Lamb and Ja’Marr Chase.
