Kate Middleton has been the object of admiration ever since she caught the attention of student Prince William years ago and subsequently burst onto the world stage. This is especially true when it comes to beauty. In fact, the Princess of Wales is a muse to many, from her natural beauty as a girl-next-door in St. Andrews to the sophisticated looks and subdued red carpet glamor she now displays as a senior royal.
Last year, Middleton sported a dramatic blonde transformation while visiting London’s Natural History Museum. Earlier that summer we saw her hair frayed and cascading over her shoulders at Wimbledon, then in a low ponytail during a visit to RAF Coningsby in November. Kate, who has returned to work in 2026, made a surprise appearance at London’s Charing Cross Hospital wearing a perfectly tailored suit and her extra-long, thick dark curly hair draped over her shoulders. The princess embraced undulating waves, like a chic updo in a chic tiara or a dazzling tiara, and classic English rose beauty: rosy blush, a sophisticated brown smoky eye, and an always-hydrated nude lip. She will also pass on these classic beauty principles to Princess Charlotte. (That seems to have been the case, with plenty of adorable mother-daughter moments.)
