Sombr Takes Us Behind the Scenes of His First Headlining Tour

What does a 20-year-old internationally renowned musician do on his first world tour? Well, if you’re Sombr, you’d “find the nearest antique shop and grab all the good stuff,” which is exactly what the singer-songwriter did when she arrived in London for the UK leg of her Late Night & Young Romance Tour. Any helpful frugal tips? “You should be able to show a little bit of your belly,” he said. “I think it’s important.”

Fashion Caught up with Sombr for a baritone check-in as he recounted the dizzying highs of his recent life. “A year ago, I never thought I would be able to headline a thousand people. Where I am now is more than I asked for and I’m so grateful and I will never take it for granted.”

What’s Sombr’s favorite song to perform live right now? And, of course, his latest hit, “Homewrecker” (which also inspired some pretty awesome merchandise). He’s happy to get used to exploring each city he visits on his tour, but he’s also happy to see a familiar face from home before taking the stage – his father, Andy Boose. It’s hard not to be swept away by Sombr’s infectious energy as he shouts out his Vogue World 2025 cameo, chats with his band, and discusses the joys of matching outfits (influenced by Mick Jagger and David Bowie)—and that’s just in the video!
