Tory Burch Resort 2027 Collection

Anderson .Paak wore Tory Burch’s white patent leather Reva flats at the Met Gala. Burch had nothing to do with the musician’s other outfits, which include a star-embroidered jacket, oval sunglasses and his signature wig, but she may have approved of its eclecticism. In an appointment, she said her new resort collection “continues the conversation she established in her recent shows” but adds “some more quirky spontaneity.”

Vibrant colors were at the heart of it: a lemon yellow drop-waist dress, an acid green cardigan suit paired with a burgundy leather skirt. But surprising materials and playful gestures also play a starring role. The sweater’s wool was brushed and pilled, while the leather skirt was polished to an almost crackled texture. For evening, she took old-school techniques—hand-embroidered ribbons, gathered rosettes—and gave them a quirky, modern twist. This embroidered ribbon dress has a faux wide neckline that looks like you’re wearing your favorite sleeveless T-shirt. As for rosettes, surprisingly they can decorate party dresses as well as everyday tops and skirts.

Cool minimalism has seeped into some other resort collections, but Burch stuck to a quirky irreverence. Her clothes this season have a vintage feel, like you might have found them in your mother or grandmother’s closet but forgot she had them. However, their specificity does not diminish their usefulness. In a preview, Burch proudly pointed to a glazed wallpaper jacquard raincoat, one in vibrant yellow and the other in bright orange. Both can be completely flipped to khaki.
