The Industry Cast Tease What to Expect From Season Four as They Celebrate in Manhattan

The season also saw a new chapter in Harper’s rocky relationship with Ken Leung’s Eric Tao, who also happens to be real-life neighbors in Brooklyn. “Myha’la is so easy to work with – she really frees you as an actor,” Liang praises. “This season, Eric sees Harper as a way to reach out to his daughter. He’s asking her to get to know her in a different way so they can get to know each other like never before.”

When actor Sagar Radia arrived, his castmates raved about his cream bouclé jacket. “Rishi is definitely in survival mode,” he says of his role as a “merchant of chaos.” “He’s a widower and a single father; he’s not the same guy anymore – but he’s still hustling.” But don’t worry, he still has new levels to surrender to: “In episode four, he’s at rock bottom. Just when you think he can’t go any lower, he digs even further. It’s a mesmerizing moment.”

Bubbly Sweet Pea Golightly (aka actress Miriam Page) is also grappling with her lowest moments. “She came out on top last season, but she’s in a really bad place this season because some things from the past are coming back and she has to deal with it.” (The breakout star is unfazed in real life, cool, cool and collected in a Sweet Pea-inspired 16Arlington suit with a Tom Ford belt.)

After the episode ended, hundreds of people headed to The Twenty Two’s Café Zaffri to drink Moët, martinis, and eat some food, but more importantly, try to catch up with creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. “Mitch and Conrad are awesome. They’re a great resource,” Carl Penn, who also joined this season, said of the two former bankers. “I asked them a thousand questions about the financial business and the subtext of everything. I think their world.” Payne is introduced as the CEO of Tender, a chaotic but somewhat likable company that is integral to the storyline. “I wouldn’t say he’s ‘friendly,'” he said with a laugh. “But I’ve had bosses like him – I know exactly how someone like that thinks and operates.”

The last of these new bold faces to be named is Charlie Heaton, a tenacious financial journalist who appears in the first frame. “There’s a lot of pressure on his shoulders,” Heaton said. “When I read the character, my own accent slipped out, and Mitch and Conrad said, ‘This is it. This is what we want.'”

“We’re very humbled…for once,” Don joked. “We started working on the show in 2016 and this is our most cinematic and operatic season yet. With 150 lines, we think we have the best cast on television. Well, except Pete,” Conrad added with a laugh. “But really, they all have a huge presence and fit seamlessly into the show.

When it held its first official gathering in the United States, industry It turns out that it really captured market share. As executive producer Jane Tranter puts it, it’s gone from “a little engine that could” to “a little engine sitting on the tarmac.”

The first episode of Season 4 will air on HBO on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
