Meanwhile, at last night’s eye-catching red carpet premiere, Froese wanted to take a break from all the gore and horror and instead indulge in the traditional glamor of Cannes. She worked with stylist Sandra Amador to find the perfect dress of the moment, a pink bodice paired with a long black skirt. “When I first saw the original sketches of this dress, I screamed,” Froseth said. “It was everything I had dreamed of. Sandra and I had been talking about mood and energy for weeks. We wanted something timeless, unique, sparkling – just like the movie.”

While the actor has been to Cannes before, this marked her first time at the festival, and she wanted to project a classic elegance rather than resorting to method dressing or taking some crazy fashion risks. (Not to be missed: She also wore an elegant cream Ferragamo skirt suit for the photoshoot.) “It felt like my inner child’s dream to wear pink and glitter and have fun dressing up,” Froese said. “From the moment I saw the sketch to the first time I tried it on, there was no doubt it was the right fit.”

What’s next for the actor after Cannes? She’s back to work on a few other projects. Because there is no peace for the wicked—or rather, for a rising star. “I’m currently filming Season 3 bucs In Scotland, another piece of Edith Wharton’s work is packaged, titled age of innocence “For Netflix,” said Froese, who is also about to return to the horror genre. “I’m also very excited to see the progress on another film I made last year called this scary face Author: Anna Biller.
