Elsesser’s dress was collaged from more than 30 dresses found on eBay, giving it a shimmering retro visual that designer and former Marni creative director Francesco Risso embellished (and painted) with metallic details. Bureau of Imagination’s gowns featured gemstones of various sizes, scattered with sparkling shards and swirls of metallic rivers.
It makes sense, then, that she would pare down her beauty choices and let the dress sing. When it comes to makeup, she sticks to terracotta and reddish-brown tones, with minimal eye makeup and sheer cheek color. For her nude manicure, she opted for extra-long, round nails painted in a sheer creamy beige shade.

Kardashian made her signature statement on the Met Gala red carpet by getting her breastplate done at an “auto body shop.” Kardashian wore an Allen Jones design with a satsuma-colored fiberglass breastplate and a cape-style orange and brown skirt. Kardashian ditched her usual short manicure, opting for an elongated almond shape, and wore a soft, semi-matte nude color for the event.
