The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Nailed Casual Elegance

This week, Paris Fashion Month kicks off the Fall 2026 shows, and while everything on the runway is geared towards delivering high fashion fantasies, the A-listers in the front row are taking a slightly more low-key approach to their attire. This week, the best-dressed stars are practicing the art of casual elegance – opting for looks that are understated but still with a bold first look. Think about it: a smart blazer paired with jeans, or a stylish pair of suit pants paired with a casual bra top.

Take Olivia Rodrigo’s Chloé show, for example: the singer stepped out in one of the brand’s sweet lace-trimmed slip dresses. She paired it with a pair of cream open-toe pumps and a python Paddington bag, making the lingerie-inspired look feel perfect for the runway. Anya Taylor-Joy also opted for Dior at the LVMH Prize cocktail party in the City of Lights, pairing a metallic brocade ruffled jacket with classic light-wash jeans for a more wearable feel, in line with Jonathan Anderson’s take on the Dior show.

In Loewe, love story Star Sarah Pidgeon wore textured white jeans and a draped leather shirt that was very reminiscent of what her on-screen character Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy would wear today. Equally chic and discrete? Kate Moss wore a Saint Laurent dress and Nicole Kidman wore a black Chanel suit – Kidman looked even sexier with sheer panels.
