Led by Laura Weir of the British Fashion Council, London Fashion Week is increasingly attracting international guests. What about the party scenes in the Fall 2026 collection? As dynamic and changing as we see on the runways and on the streets of the capital. Fashionable girls sing karaoke, basements party with the underground fashion crowd and glamorous events take place at the legendary Claridge’s Hotel.
Parisian brand Alfie hosted an intimate cocktail party at Browns boutique on Brook Street on Friday evening to celebrate their ongoing collaboration and the launch of the label’s light and romantic spring collection. Titled “A Quiet Unfolding,” the Spring/Summer 2026 collection embodies Alfie’s signature duality in fabrics and craftsmanship: sheer organza meets utilitarian cotton twill, structured skirts and airy, ruffled shirts. In the warmly lit Yellow Room of the Browns boutique, where the airy Spring/Summer 2026 collection hangs on the walls, it’s easy to see why the likes of Hailey Bieber would love the sophisticated French cosmopolitan spirit of Alfie founder Alice Fresnel’s designs.
“Partnering with Browns makes a lot of sense for us because the UK is actually Alfie’s first market,” Fresnel shared. “It’s always been a place that resonates naturally with our customers. There’s a sense of confidence in dressing that’s both masculine and feminine. Celebrating our third season in such an iconic retail space in London feels like a full-circle moment, reconnecting with the community that has supported us from the beginning, while marking an important step in our global growth.”
Guests wore some of Alfie’s favorite styles, such as a stylish halter top in oyster and a pencil skirt with wide pockets. During the evening, friends of the brand networked with local creatives including Kyra Kennedy, Timmy Malkoun, Jordan Grant, Patricia Manfield and Coco Schiffer. They enjoyed a selection of French wines from the Quill Wine Bar, spoke about Alfie’s own roots and enjoyed a DJ set by Isabella Massenet
