To celebrate ten years of clean beauty innovation, Milk Makeup is inviting friends of the brand to a bodega-inspired feast that perfectly embodies the eclectic, go-anywhere spirit of the community-driven collection born at Milk Studios in Manhattan. The party at WSA also marked the official launch of Hydro Grip Concealer Gel – the latest addition to its popular Hydro Grip range.
Hosted by founders Mazdack Rassi and Zanna Roberts Rassi, the event kicked off with a DJ hosted by YA GIRL ASH and guests such as Justin Theroux, Mario Sorrenti, June Ambrose and Jenna Lyons sampled nostalgic delicacies. On the menu: pepperoni lunch, avocado toast, chicken nuggets with caviar and pigs in a blanket. (“I just like pigs in blankets” Ronnie Celebrities and fashion plate Lyon whisper to each other FashionRestaurant-style tables are scattered with Dairy Milk brand ketchup and mustard bottles, napkins, placemats, and beauty products, enhancing the immersive experience and blurring the lines between corner store and cool-girl-approved makeup lift.
Throughout the space, makeup artists are stationed in booths and ballrooms, offering shade-matching classes so guests can test new gel-to-cream concealers and find the perfect shade for themselves. Once confirmed, attendees received customized takeout orders, noting the colors they could redeem at the end of the night; a subtle nod to New York’s beloved restaurant and bodega culture. Elsewhere, the classic soda and energy drink cooler is reimagined as a freewheeling “milk supermarket” – instead of holding drinks, the fridge holds products and aluminum water bottles behind glass doors.
The event culminated with a performance by frontman Noga Erez, switching the party gear into club mode with a little help from dancing and dirty martinis. The evening was filled with fun and performances. Designed to showcase how the best beauty products move at the speed of real life. This atmosphere is at the heart of Roberts Rassi’s defining appeal.
