Penélope Cruz Joins Team Bob at the Chanel Couture Show

The most famous faces in fashion (and the world) are descending on Paris for Spring 2026 Fashion Week. But the beautiful looks on the catwalk (Dior’s romantic futurism and Schiaparelli’s wildlife) weren’t the only sights to behold – the front row was also star-studded, making for both incredible people-watching and the perfect place to showcase beautiful transformations.

Take Chanel’s Spring 2026 haute couture collection, for example, where singer Gracie Abrams and actress Penélope Cruz both debuted new “dos.” For Abrams, the look fits in with the short, Bixy-style bobs we’ve seen popular. Cruz also cut his hair shorter for the big event, this time with a clavichord cut.

That’s exactly what the combination is called: The collarbone haircut is the longest of the infinity bob varieties and hits right at the collarbone (or collarbone). Combined with the slightly tapered front and face-framing pieces, you have a hairstyle that will look gorgeous on women of every age. Cruz’s hair also changed. It’s not a dark chocolate brown, but a lighter shade with slight auburn undertones. She’s officially ready for spring.
