Ebay will open its Revolving Fashion Fund to applicants from the EU, Switzerland and Canada for the first time in 2026, further expanding its presence in the UK, US, Germany and Australia.
Launching in 2022, the annual program aims to support businesses in addressing the environmental footprint of fashion from production to end-of-life. Eight selected startups will receive mentorship and $50,000 in funding, with one business being named a Circular Fashion Fund global winner and receiving an additional $300,000 in investment from Ebay Ventures. Since its launch, the Circular Fashion Fund has provided capital and guidance to more than 25 businesses.
“When we launched the Circular Fashion Fund, we set out to support businesses in moving circularity from ambition to action,” Alexis Hoopes, vice president and global head of fashion at Ebay, said in a statement. “Over the past three years, we’ve seen scalable solutions emerge in areas such as textile recycling, resale and repair, but these businesses need capital and support to grow. With this expansion, we are helping more founders build the infrastructure to make circular fashion an integral part of the fashion industry.”
The project judges include Marianne Perkovic, President of the Australian Fashion Council, Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, Scott Lipinski, CEO of the German Fashion Council, and Sarika Bajaj, alumna of the Circular Fashion Fund and co-founder of Re Fiberd.
Applications for the 2026 cycle are open until March 8.
