Ohayon most recently served as CEO of Stella McCartney, in which LVMH held a stake until early 2025.

“With her unique ability to work with the most creative talent, coupled with her inclusive leadership and retail expertise, I am confident Amandine will play a key role in further accelerating this new chapter of growth for iconic French haute couture house Givenchy,” Beccary said in a statement.

Sidney Toledano, who handed over the baton of the fashion group to Beccari on January 1, said: “Alessandro has shown extraordinary determination and efficiency in the transition period of managing Givenchy. As a result, the company is now in the best position to make full use of its reorganized organization and thus promote future growth. I am delighted to see Amandine join Givenchy and continue to develop this ambitious project together with Sarah Burton.” Burton will hold her third fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in March.

Givenchy is one of eight brands in the LVMH fashion group, including Celine, Loewe, Fendi, Kenzo, Pucci, Patou and Marc Jacobs. As part of an industry reset, executive shuffling is happening in tandem with creativity. In addition to Givenchy, Celine, Loewe and Fendi have all appointed new creative directors, while Fendi and Kenzo have also appointed new chief executives.

The whole fashion group is functioning and the new leader will continue to bring energy and drive this trajectory, so I feel very confident,” Toledano recently told us fashion business.

Valenti joins Givenchy as CEO in 2024 after spending a decade at LVMH, including as president of Louis Vuitton Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Angeloglou said: “I am confident that Alessandro will make a significant contribution to our retail and digital performance, thanks to his vision, experience within the Group and his ability to engage his team in addressing business challenges, at this particularly exciting and ambitious time for Christian Dior Couture.”
