“This was my first time watching a polo match. We were enjoying the view of the mountains behind all the horses and it was truly the best time,” bridgeton Narrated by star Phoebe Dynevor Fashion. “I’m here to support Regis, as much as I want to support Harry. Shout out to England!” The actress was joined at the Regis Lodge by Colman Domingo, supermodels Martha Hunt and Sara Sampaio, and Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been Aspen locals since 1985. Dressed in the best of the American West, the couple held the party in a cabin-style setting, sipping Bloody Marys and telling party-goers tales of a bygone era (Aspen and Hollywood).
“We love having these surreal moments here every year,” said George Fleck, one of the planners of Regis’ annual event. “We created this world that’s less real and more fantasy.”
Watching and mesmerizing were Mikey Madison, Rebel Wilson, Pom Klementieff and designer Lindsey Thornburg, who wore her signature fringed patterned coats. As if the scene got even more surreal, the stylish late Mariah Carey arrived and was serenaded by a DJ All I want for Christmas is you. Hennessy cocktails were stocked in the suite and the agenda quickly turned from watching to dancing, with Kelly singing the lead.
The festivities continued that evening with a pre-dinner disco at Caviar Kaspia at The Snow Lodge. Oscar-winning actress Madison swapped her audience attire for a Western-style black corset, while Domingo remained in an après-ski fur coat. There’s Hennessy-spiked iced espresso, Jack Abrams DJ equipment and, of course, caviar.
On the final day of competition, a stylish crowd, including Shay Mitchell and Phoebe Tonkin, gathered to watch Figueras and his sons Hilario and Artemo take the victory, with Hilario being named tournament MVP. If the Snow Polo Championship is any indication of what’s to come in Aspen this season, this winter will be one to remember.
