a slightly different kind Gundam The game has been released in which you fight giant alien monsters. called Mobile Suit Gundam Rogue Orbit It does look interesting.
I need to state up front because I knew about this game a few years ago but thought it had been cancelled.
I’m glad that’s not the case as it does look very impressive and very different for one Gundam game.
This is because the main enemies in this game appear to be large chitinous alien monsters, your titular monster Gundam Can be cut into small pieces.
If you think this pairing of mechas and monsters is something new, you’re totally wrong.
As early as 2011, Konami released an arcade game ” Iron Chroniclein which there are large mechas shooting down large and scary monsters.
Part of the reason for this was to compete with other massive mecha multiplayer games in Japanese arcades, such as Sega’s boundary breaking.
In addition, just Gundamwe also have huge and terrifying aliens as the main antagonists Up to 00 Movie, The Awakening of the Pioneers.
Not to mention lost planet series of games, so this combination is not new to mecha games.
Regardless, mechs have a long and storied history of fighting monsters, and I’m glad Gundam At least in game form it leans towards that.
Mobile Suit Gundam Rogue Orbit It looks really good too, and the game is powered by Unreal Engine. I also really like the mecha design of this game, so I hope this game does well.
Mobile Suit Gundam Rogue Orbit It will be released next year via Steam for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
