Bevza Resort 2027 Collection | Vogue

Svitlana Bevza believes that as humans, we don’t actually need much in our wardrobes. That’s why she designs her pieces season after season, focusing on the highest craftsmanship. She hopes to create work that is worthy of her clients’ investment. “I think Bevza clothing is the right investment,” said the Ukrainian designer. “You can buy a piece of clothing and forget about it in your wardrobe and have it for years to come. So I pay a lot of attention to the choice of fabrics and the quality of the production, which has to be the best.”

You can see this mentality and follow-up in her resort lookbook. Most of her collection is presented in her signature neutral palette, but here, soft buttery yellows and mint greens were added. In addition to color, her silhouettes also lean toward classics, inspired by the minimalist mentality of the 1990s. This black bamboo knit dress is form-fitting and features subtle chain detailing at the straps that flow to the back, eliminating the need for additional jewelry. Additionally, the strap features her customary wheat pattern, a nod to one of her country’s biggest exports. It was a thoughtful engagement.

While cleaning out her closet, Bevza discovered a vintage Corneliani tuxedo that belonged to her husband. He wanted to get rid of it, but the designer strongly objected to this action. “He wanted to throw the outfit away, but I loved the outfit,” she said. Instead, she used it as inspiration. “So for the Bevza version, we narrowed the silhouette and enlarged the sleeves, but kept the length and all the other details I love.” She added a belt that can be easily tightened and unfastened according to the wearer’s wishes, and it’s available in two different shades. Bevza’s perfect evening gown was born. You know, the kind of thing she just knew was going to be a staple in her wardrobe for years to come.
