Dua Lipa and Callum Turner tied the knot in a secret civil wedding in London on Sunday, May 31. But the celebrations at Old Marylebone Town Hall – where the musician bride wore a bespoke Schiaparelli couture – were just the beginning.
The couple arrived in Sicily on Thursday and will reportedly host a lavish three-day wedding at various venues in the Sicilian capital, Palermo. (The city is a particular favorite of the couple: They spent a vacation there in the summer of 2025, sampling local delicacies like ricotta cannoli and posting photos wearing pink Palermo FC jerseys.)
According to reports, one of the locations chosen for the celebrations is the Villa Valguanera in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo. The residence was commissioned in 1712 by Anna Gravina, Princess of Gravina and Valguanera, from Dominican friar and architect Tommaso Maria Napoli. A disciple of Carlo Fontana and trained in the Bernini tradition, the architect created one of the most glorious examples of Sicilian Baroque.
Situated on a scenic hilltop with lush gardens, this villa overlooks the area and the bays of Palermo and Cefalù. The villa is now the residence of Valguanera and Princess Victoria Aliata of Villafranca and will welcome the newlyweds and their families for their weddings. Guests including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Olivia Dean and Elton John are expected to attend.
