The 2026 Met Gala may be happening tomorrow, but the red carpet this week didn’t stop to feature some high fashion moments ahead of the highly anticipated event. In fact, quite the opposite: A-listers have been rocking vibrant looks all week, opting for designs in bright hues and fun silhouettes that have an instant pep in our step.
Amal Clooney kicked off the week on a bright note as she attended the Chaplin Awards dinner in New York, where her husband, George Clooney, was honored. She chose a magenta Balenciaga style with a slender train. Another perfect spring hue comes from Chanel’s A$AP Rocky, as the rapper attended the brand’s Cruise 2026 show in Biarritz, color-blocking a red shirt with a pink flap bag.
Strong, structured silhouettes have made headlines for stars like Greta Lee (in a slim-fitting red Issey Miyake corset) and Billie Eilish, who sported Celine’s tailoring at the premiere of her new tour documentary. (Her little striped tie? So nice.)
There were some great throwback moments this week too. In Miami, The Devil Wears Prada 2 Star Simone Ashley chose a vintage teal Chloé sundress that was perfect for the tropical setting. Just last night, model Kendall Jenner attended a private party at the Met in New York City (hosted by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez) wearing a black Mugler Fall 1993 outfit with bow detailing. Both prove that retro design can still feel modern and fresh.
