King Charles and Queen Camilla begin an official state visit hosted by President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. The pair landed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland for a four-day trip that will include an address to Congress – the first such address since Queen Elizabeth II addressed Congress in 1991.

The event kicked off with a private tea party between King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Trump family. The First Lady retained her usual simple, cool style, wearing the designer’s favorite pastel yellow Adam Lipps dress with matching snakeskin pumps. The hue was a subtle take on the dress she wore when she last met the Queen, who opted for a canary yellow strapless gown paired with a lilac belt during her visit to the UK last September. Soft yellow was balanced by Queen Camilla’s white midi dress, which featured cobalt blue embroidery at the V-neckline.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will travel to New York on Tuesday night to visit the 9/11 Memorial and meet with Mayor Zohran Mamdani before hosting a “Block Party on America’s 250” in Virginia to mark the country’s upcoming anniversary.
