About Quadthera Titan

Quadthera Titan uses four ultrasonic frequencies (1, 3, 10, 19 megahertz (MHz)) to tighten and lift, smooth texture and tone, reduce fine lines and enhance overall radiance, and you can choose from five different modes to focus on specific skin concerns. It’s made from a titanium head that transfers energy to get the results you want, and you can switch between two intensities to ensure you’re comfortable during every session.

Dr. Hwang says the Quadthera Titan operates at much lower energy levels than in-office ultrasound treatments. These devices also don’t have the precise depth positioning of in-office devices to actually stimulate collagen to make a visible difference in your skin.

While he says you’ll see changes in your skin around four to six weeks, he does stress that these results are minimal and superficial. Therefore, it’s best to lower your expectations. “The difference is not just strength, but basic ability,” he added.

How to use Quadthera Titan

Using this device is very simple. You’ll first need to apply the conductive gel (the included ForHertz product or a water-based gel) to the device or directly onto clean skin so that it glides gently over it. You can then choose from five modes based on the skin concern you want to address. It is recommended that you only use the device for a total of 10 minutes, you will receive a 5-minute warning to help you manage your time. After that, you can continue with the rest of your skin care routine.

Dr. Huang says there are no standardized clinical protocols for how to use such devices, but generally speaking, you can use them two to three times a week, depending on the manufacturer and your skin’s tolerance. While the Quadthera Titan itself is marketed as safe enough for daily use, he said increased frequency of use doesn’t equate to better results.

My experience with Quadthera Titan

Of all the devices I’ve used, the Quadthera Titan is the most subtle. There were many times during the first two weeks that I started to wonder if I was using it correctly because I couldn’t feel anything. But the device did start to heat up around the eight-minute mark, and the results started to trickle out.

I used it four to five times a week for four weeks. While I don’t think my skin looked any improved, I did feel like my skin was getting smoother. My eye bags are also less noticeable and my complexion is more radiant, which I love.

Is Quadthera Titan Worth It?

Determining whether the Quadthera Titan is worth the $1,200 price tag depends entirely on your specific needs. As Dr. Huang says: If your goal is lifting, sculpting, or structural rejuvenation, this device may not be for you. But if you’re looking for a product that’s fairly low-maintenance, has minimal risks, and provides a subtle boost to your skin overall (if you don’t mind the hefty price tag), then why not? Just make sure you follow it consistently to make the investment worthwhile.
