Myanmar’s new president Min Aung Hlaing faces genocide complaint filed in Indonesia

Myanmar is an ASEAN member, but relations between the two countries have been strained since a 2021 coup led by Senior General Rai, leading to civil war and a humanitarian crisis that has seen large numbers of Rohingya Muslims displaced and forced into refugee settlements.
