On a warm and pleasant evening in the Miami Design District on Tuesday evening, Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin unveiled its new flagship store: a massive two-story boutique that is currently the brand’s largest store in the Americas. Kelly moved through the crowd with ease, his presence drawing a steady stream of attention. This curiosity started early. “My parents bought me a really nice Seiko watch before I went to college, when I was 18,” he recalls. “I don’t even remember what model it was, but it was nice.” A few years later, when he was 22, he bought a 1987 Omega Speedmaster from Japan on eBay, complete with its original box and instructions, which truly sparked his passion for watches. “I bought it for $800,” he excitedly revealed.
