Start with a translucent pink polish (the sheen is almost like jelly) and then brush on top with chrome powder. Unless you have very steady hands, this is probably a style best left to the professionals, who can apply the fine powder properly while avoiding clumps and uneven texture. Unlike the heavier, more direct metallic chrome, chrome rose is softer and has more iridescence. It’s the shy little sister in striking silver or bold gold.
A darker or more intense pink undertone will give a more classic metallic feel as the chrome will enhance the brightness of the color, while a more subtle pink will give a natural rosy shimmer over the chrome topcoat.
