Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Divya Shokeen says the focus this spring is on function, not trendy fads or spot-on products that wash off. “Beauty editors and dermatologists alike are emphasizing results you can feel and measure: barrier support, regenerative signaling and smart technology integration,” she tells us Fashion. “No one has the time and money to spend on skin care that won’t result in measurable improvements in skin quality. “In spring, I want to see bright colors that match the foliage of the season,” says Reiko Brown, who highlights pops of orange among peach, coral and rose. “This trend will be seen in beautiful color palettes and applying unique colors to the face—think monochromatic faces. Washes of color will appear on eyelids, cheeks, and lips, as well as soft, blurred watercolor applications.”
