Kate Middleton’s Lucky Charm? This Lifting Blush Trick

If you need some new blush inspiration, today is your lucky day.

Kate Middleton was all smiles as she celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish Guards on Tuesday, and while her matching forest green coat and hat certainly deserved attention, we couldn’t help but notice her softer charm.

The Princess of Wales kept her beauty look effortless, brightening her face with dark brows, a subtle smoky eye, light pink lips, and rosy blush that reached up from the apples of her cheeks.

What’s the secret to recreating that glowing look? Mix liquid blush and highlighter.

Blending the two with a brush or fingertips helps eliminate harsh lines during application and provides a seamless, shiny finish. While this blush technique works well for women of all ages, it’s especially suitable for women with mature skin.

It is the latest in a series of public appearances for the princess, who recently revealed she has stopped drinking since her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and after being declared in remission last year. “It’s something I have to be more aware of now,” she said during a visit to a London beer hall last week.

With Nigeria’s state visit right around the corner, we’re sure to see more looks that will inspire the future queen.
