Rose Byrne dressed like a winner waiting for the 2026 Oscars.

Bourne was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in the film If I had legs I would kick youembracing the glamor of Old Hollywood during the 2026 awards season (see: Green Chanel atonement-the style dress she wore to the Golden Globes). The Oscars were no exception: she appeared in a custom-made Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson, based on his debut Look 35.
Byrne wore a strapless black crepe dress with three-dimensional blooms embroidered on the bodice and hem. But instead of the asymmetrical draped dress from the Spring 2026 Haute Couture show, Byrne opted for a classic mermaid silhouette. Stylist Kate Young completed the look with Taffin jewelry, including a sculptural necklace with an inverted 16.54 Ashoka cut diamond cognac diamond pendant. On the beauty front, the actor kept her look classic with a sleek low bun and a dramatic red lip.

After being on stage with her bridesmaid She attended the Vanity Fair Oscars alongside co-stars Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper. There, she swapped her mermaid gown for a two-piece look from Dior: a strapless crop top and maxi skirt accented with layers of beaded fringe.
