The Top 10 Most-Viewed FW26 Shows on Vogue Runway

Fashion may love debuts, but longevity has its own special appeal. Ralph Lauren, who turns 87 this year and the brand will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027, once again makes our list of the 10 most-watched fashion shows. After his menswear show in Milan topped our menswear rankings in January, his fall women’s ready-to-wear collection ranked sixth. “Rolling Thunder” is the name the brand has adopted internally for the recent rise in all things RL, and I can vouch for that phenomenon. Even without the chance to hit the catwalk, the Polo Ralph Lauren collection on display in the Paris showroom makes our top 20 list.

In fact, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s own Fendi debut really earned her a spot in our lineup. “Less of me, more of us,” was the motto emblazoned on her Milan show, a testament to the collection’s broad appeal. Haider Ackermann is now entering his third season with Tom Ford, who narrowly missed the list last season. I think it’s less about broad appeal and more about the FOMO that Ackermann’s small, atmospheric shows really mean among fashion fans. His collaborator, movement choreographer Pat Boguslawski, deserves tribute for the models’ seductive dance routines.

Three new entries mean three more brands have dropped out of the list. Two fallen brands, including Maison Margiela and Valentino, dropped out of the competition with larger-than-planned presentations. Margiela’s Glenn Martens is heading to Shanghai, where he will kick off three weeks of events in China with a fashion show that combines ready-to-wear and handmade collections. Valentino’s Alessandro Michele left Paris for an unplanned show in Rome on Thursday night. Balenciaga’s Pierpaolo Piccioli was the third name left out. his Euphoria The broadcast hasn’t exactly set the internet on fire, and perhaps it’s too early to capitalize on any excitement surrounding the April release of season three. But Piccioli has other projects to look forward to, including his fashion debut in July.

The rest of the list is pretty steady: Dior’s Jonathan Anderson takes the No. 1 spot from Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy, Gucci regular Demna holds steady, while another long-lived designer, Miuccia Prada, makes her Miu Miu runway debut at Chloë Sevigny30 This was proven when she appeared again later in the year, with both of her shows placing in the top five. chapeau!
