The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off in June and excitement among fans has already reached a fever pitch.
For the first time in the history of this football tournament, it is co-hosted by 16 different cities (11 of them in the United States, 3 in Mexico, and 2 in Canada). This is also the first time that FIFA has hosted it by 3 countries, with a total of 48 teams participating. To continue today’s momentum, the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team also launched the official World Cup uniforms. Fashion Get an exclusive, up-close look at the jersey.

Designed in partnership with Nike, the official soccer team jerseys feature two different jerseys centered around the patriotic stars and stripes design. The dark kit features custom jacquard stars, while the light kit features gradient stripes. (There is also a special goalkeeper jersey.) “This jersey symbolizes the unity of our entire system,” U.S. Soccer assistant sporting director Oguchi Onyewu said in a release. “It carries the pride of a nation and the honor of representing America on the biggest stage in the world.”
The kit’s color palette balances red and blue tones, including navy and deep obsidian. All jerseys are made with Nike’s special “Dri Fit ADV” technology for maximum breathability and on-court performance. Nike worked closely with U.S. men’s soccer players throughout the design process to ensure a variety of practical elements were incorporated to make the jersey perform. (Players provided feedback on everything from fabric weight to seam placement.) “We wanted something that could coexist and express who we are as a team,” said Tyler Adams, a midfielder on the U.S. men’s national team.
