‘Practical Magic’ 2: 25 Thoughts I Had About the First Trailer

Are there too many reboots and sequels in Hollywood these days? undoubtedly. (My original IP Kingdom!) But you’ll never catch me complaining about my all-new favorite part of the 1998 wizard sisters romp, practical magic—notably Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest all reprise their roles as Owens girls.

Now, we’ve officially received the first trailer for the film, which is set to be released this September. Watch it for yourself and find (quite literally) every thought I had about the first viewing Practical Magic 2 the following:

  1. “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family.” Of course I have! I’m a bisexual millennial!
  2. I know it’s part of the movie’s conceit to make Nicole and Sandra look as dewy, youthful, and timeless as they did in the original, but…how do they do it?
  3. Skin care products, I guess.
  4. Stockard Channing!
  5. Looks great too!
  6. Does anyone else automatically think how dirty it is? grease Does the stylist style her every time she sees her on screen?
  7. just me?
  8. I mean…she’s supposed to be a hot bad girl! Why did they give her that off-brand pixie cut?
  9. OK, lock back this Movie.
  10. Gillian Owens’ concept on Tinder blew me away.
  11. Don’t go in there, girl! This is a trap!
  12. Should Joey King and Maisie Williams be their daughter?
  13. Or their niece or neighbor or something?
  14. How very Weirder Friday.
  15. Oh, to have the soft hair of any of these women (as opposed to the extremely grubby bangs I currently hide under the silk scarf I rock on my head).
  16. Lee Pace 🙂
  17. push daisy Hive, get up.
  18. Well, that shot of the doll burning scared me.
  19. There’s a reason why I have to find the plot of every real horror movie on Wikipedia before I go see it!
  20. Even though I knew the plot, I still cried from the fright often!
  21. The girl’s blush is really embarrassing.
  22. “Different, or the same?” Haha.
  23. I’m ready to put the lime into the coconut.
  24. In fact, even though it’s 10:30 AM PST, a midnight margarita sounds really good.
  25. Is it already September?
