“I want my exterior to feel like a piece of art that you can actually hang on your wall — and for me, that means paying attention to detail,” Anthony tells Fashion. “The look features intricate embroidery and beading that adds dimension and texture. Achieving that texture is an intricate process, like many great works of art.” As for whether this eye-catching look fits the 2026 Met Gala’s “Art of Costume” theme? “It gives body, which fits perfectly with this year’s theme,” Anthony said.

Over the past few years, Anthony has always come up with a pointed approach to various themes at the Met Gala.
